WSB Fast PaySM

Our digital banking services just got more convenient. We are excited to introduce WSB Fast PaySM, which is a person-to-person payment option that makes it easy to send money to your family, friends and other individuals. It's simple, secure and easy to access within Online Banking and within the WSB mBanking App.

Here's How It Works:

  1. You can send money to the recipient's email or mobile phone. Tell us who you want to pay and how much. They don't need to have a WSB account, they just need a valid bank account number or debit card to receive the cash.
  2. The recipient will get notified via email or text to deposit their money. They enter their bank account or debit card information.
  3. The money goes directly into their account.* It's that easy!

It's convenient, secure and easy. Everything you need is available through your existing online banking account so the next time you want to send money to an individual, just log in and take care of it.

*Depending on transfer method, funds are transferred to the recipients account nearly instantly or in as little as 2-4 business day(s).

What is WSB Fast Pay?

WSB Fast Pay is a person-to-person payment service that is available to our mBanking and Online Banking users. It is a convenient, secure way for you to pay friends, family and other individuals. With a simple click or tap, you can send money directly from your account.

Do I need to be a WSB customer to SEND money using WSB Fast Pay?

Yes. To send money, you'll need a WSB checking account with a debit card, and the recipient's mobile phone number or email.

Do I need to be a WSB customer to RECEIVE money from WSB Fast Pay?

No. To receive money, the Recipient only needs an email or mobile phone number, and a debit card or checking account from a U.S. Financial Institution.

Is WSB Fast Pay free?

Yes. You can use WSB Fast Pay to send and receive money at no charge. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile service provider.

When will the money be available?

Funds are deposited into a Recipient's account in one of the following two ways:

  • Almost instantly if an eligible debit card is provided by the Recipient
  • Up to 2 to 4 business days if account number is used by the Recipient to retrieve payment.

What if the recipient is having a problem using their debit card to retrieve payment from WSB Fast Pay?

If you are using a non-WSB debit card, you may receive the following message:
"The card is currently not eligible to receive funds. Please enter a different debit card or your checking account information to collect your money."

Some financial institutions do not accept Account to Account credit transactions and the Recipient is unable to receive payment using their financial institutions debit card. When this occurs, the Recipient will need to accept the payment using their checking account, by selecting "Receive with your checking account" link.

What happens to the funds if the recipient does not accept payment?

If the recipient does not accept the payment within 10 business days, the funds are reimbursed to the senders account.

Are there limits to the amount of money I can send?

Yes. You may initiate 4 transfer up to $2,500 per banking day. The amount of your transfers will be included in the total amount of point of sale purchases allowed.

Do non-WSB customer have to enroll in WSB Fast Pay to use it?

No. Non-WSB customers do not have to enroll in WSB Fast Pay to receive payment. They simply need to provide their first and last name, and an eligible debit card number or their bank checking account number and routing number.

How do I make changes to my contact Information?

Contact names, email address and mobile phone numbers can be added and changed under the Manage Contacts link. Simply click on Menu within the WSB Fast Pay service.

Can I find out the status of a WSB Fast Pay transaction?

Yes, transactions made using WSB Fast Pay can be tracked under the Transaction History link. Simply click on Menu with the WSB Fast Pay service.

Can I cancel a payment?

If the Recipient has not accepted funds, we may be able to cancel the payment. Simply go to your transaction history with the WSB Fast Pay service, locate the transaction and select "Cancel". Please call our Digital Banking call center at (630) 652-2000 for assistance. Unfortunately, a payment cannot be canceled if the Recipient has accepted payment. With this in mind, please ensure:

  • You are only sending payments to people you know
  • You carefully enter your contact information and confirm their information is correct and up to date before sending a payment.

For a payment made to a 1st time Recipient, consider sending the Recipient a small dollar amount as a test to confirm their contact information.
